Doctor of Law, Public Law branch, at the Universidad San Pablo CEU, Madrid. Integrated Researcher at CEAD (FD / ULHT) and Researcher at IPRI / UN. Member of the CEDIS / UN Data Protection Observatory.

 

Degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of Lisbon, Postgraduate in “Criminology” and in “Economics and European Criminal Law”, Diploma in Advanced Studies in Public Law, Criminal Law branch, (San Pablo CEU).

 

Invited professor in the areas of Security, Criminology and Criminal Law; Assistant Professor (Regent) in the UC Constitutional Justice, Fundamental Rights, Public International Law and Criminal Law III, in Law degree and UC State, Law and Security in the Master of Law, all at ULHT.

 

National Defense Auditor (2003), he is a member of several national and international associations, in the scope of Security, Defense and Justice. He was a member of the AACDN in three managements. He is the founder of OSCOT and the Observatory for the Islamic World (IMO). He is also a member of AFCEA International, CISEG, Comunidad de Inteligencia y Seguridad Global and the International Academy of Space Studies (IASS) Brazil.

 

He is a former Criminal Investigator at the Judicial Police (from 1989 until 2009), the national criminal investigation police agency. He is also an International Trainer in the fields of Security, Criminology and Criminal Justice and "SIC Noticias" commentator for Security and Criminal Investigation issues. He has several published articles and numerous media interviews on Law and Security matters.
